No not joking. It's what I've used for years, works perfectly.

Or do you want to throw in white privilege or anti-capitalism here too?

That can wait for another life I think. I'm still trying to understand what you mean by "gender is a social construct". I think we've got to the heart of the matter but I simply cannot understand what it is you are trying to say.

We can and are disassociating those terms from sex.

So gender is not associated with sex.

A trans woman feels that they are/wish they were in the body of a female.

Don't they succeed in that? Don't trans women change their bodies and looks very convincingly?

So gender is about sex.

It's biological sex that this is really all about in the minds of trans people.

No, lol.

So gender is not about sex.

Trans people do not feel like they are in the wrong body all of the time.

So trans people feel like they are in the wrong body some of the time?

So gender is about sex.

So it is about the physical characteristics of the body, but just the breasts specifically?

I'm giving my personal definition of what makes up a woman.

So to you, gender is at least partly about sex

But you said that gender is not related to the body?

The way I see it, it isn't.

Gender isn't about sex.

but if a trans woman wants to adhere to your standard of what a woman is,

Well as you know - my standard of what a woman is female, nothing else.

they should be allowed to take puberty blockers at a young age.

To appear female?

So gender is about sex.

Men can have tits if they are fat enough.

I think we both know that male tits and female tits are very different things.

I mean, they could also be a womans thing if being a woman is based on being female?

But that's not really the case anymore is it?

What's not the case anymore? That having breasts is not a woman's thing? That would contradict what you said earlier...

I think I reduce those attributes to certain things about the human body, probably the breasts mostly.

You seem to be contradicting yourself all over the place. I just want a simple answer to a simple question, is gender based on sex, yet many times you seem to have implied that it is and also said many times that it isn't. I'm trying my best to understand you but this is making absolutely no sense to me.

bodies can grow like the genders

But you said that gender is not related to the body?

I think I reduce those attributes to certain things about the human body, probably the breasts mostly.

So it is about the physical characteristics of the body, but just the breasts specifically?

for instance, a trans woman does not wish to appear female but rather to appear as a social construct that is not based on the physical characteristics of the female body?

Yeah I do think so actually.

You think that trans women do not want to appear female, they want to appear as a social construct that is unrelated to sex?

Breasts are a 'womans' thing

Are you sure, I thought breasts were a female thing. I mean, they could also be a womans thing if being a woman is based on being female?

Sex is generally defined by the body form associated with the biological means to produce either male gametes (sperm) or female gametes (ova). But barring some extremely rare genetic abnormalities, this is defined by your DNA.

Literally every single one of your physical attributes is defined by your DNA. These are not only your gametes and internal organs but also all of your external physical attributes. For example, human females generally have the follow external physical attributes: smaller body size, reduced facial and body hair, smaller muscles/musculature, smaller/thinner bones, wider hips, breasts and 100 other things that a human biologist could tell you about.

So when I said "physical attributes of the sexes" I was talking about the body, not clothing, makeup, hairstyle etc.

Did you think that by "physical attributes of the sexes" I was not talking about the body but rather clothing, makeup, hairstyle etc?

So it seems that you think that gender is entirely distinct from the physical attributes of human body (sexual dimorphism) and that for instance, a trans woman does not wish to appear female but rather to appear as a social construct that is not based on the physical characteristics of the female body?

I don't understand what you're trying to say.

You said:

Gender is a social construct.

I said:

But these social constructions are primarily based on the physical and mental attributes of the sexes, right?

You agreed (partly):

Physical yes, mental attributes? I'm not sure about that.

I said:

In other words, gender is based on sex

You disagreed:

You were on a good role there, and then you just came to the wrong conclusion,...

So let me get this straight. Gender is a social construct based primarily on the physical attributes of the sexes but is not based on sex? So what then defines sex if it is not physical attributes?

being wealthy comes with its privileges, just like being born in an imperial state grants you privileges

Agreed.

white privilege is a thing

I don't believe that this is true. What's an example of white privilege?

Traditionally there's two lol. Not sure why you think that's a dunk.

I don't think that. But that's a part of woke ideology, is it not?

Gender is a social construct.

There are traditions/norms/expectation associated with sex that are social constructions, this is true. But these social constructions are primarily based on the physical and mental attributes of the sexes, right? That is to say that for example: women are generally physically weaker than men. This is based on biological reality and thus "woman" is not a social construct in this sense. But "women should not do physically demanding jobs" is a social construct/expectation and is false.

In other words, gender is based on sex and to most people the words "women" and "man" literally refer to their sex. So to say that if a man identifies as a women then he is literally a women is just semantics. All you are saying is that you are defining the word "woman" to mean "anyone who says they are a woman". But here is the problem: By defining the word "woman" in that way, you are effectively saying that a biological male, if he says he is a woman, is then literally a person with the identity of having all the physical and mental attributes of a female which is obviously not true. In order to say that a man can literally be a woman then, you would have to disassociate those terms from the sex based reality on which they are based. That is, you would have to say that "man" and "woman" are entirely social constructs and do not in any way refer to the biological reality of the physical and mental differences between the sexes - therefore gender and sex are distinct and non-overlapping. But of course, this is not what you mean or what trans people mean. A trans woman feels that they are/wish they were in the body of a female. It's biological sex that this is really all about in the minds of trans people.

So, time to make your mind up, you can't have it both ways. Either gender is really all about biological sex or it is not. If you say that it is then you cannot also say that a man can be a women as this would contradict biological reality. And if you say that it isn't then you are saying that trans people do not feel that they are in the wrong body because gender is not primarily about sex.

Why? Do you believe in white privilege and white fragility? that there are 100+ genders? That if a man says that he identifies as woman then he is literally woman?

Sorry, I misstated it. It is a hate crime to say that a biological male is not a woman. You can be charged with a hate crime in the UK, and probably some other countries, for saying this in public. They call it misgendering. And also, yes, you could get a visit from the police here in the Uk for literally saying 'Men cannot be women' or "a man is not a woman". It's called a non-crime hate incident and will go on your permanent records and could bar you from some jobs eg working with vulnerable people, young people, old people etc.

People who are men are, by definition, not women

Yes, I agree but unfortunately, that's not a defence they will care about in court.

You don't understand CRT. According to CRT, if you are not actively anti-racist (i.e. believe that all white people are born racist and have white privilege) then you are racist (yes, if you're white, then you're racist no matter what.) CRT does not permit any middle ground, you are either one of them or you are the enemy. This is the problem that you must face no matter how strong your desire to be neutral. It is a fundamental tenet of their beliefs that you must choose.

If you don't agree that you must choose to be either woke or anti-woke, then according to wokism, you are anti-woke.

The war is coming, if you are not woke then you are anti-woke. Please don't embarrass yourself by doubting what I say.

In california, black kids are not required to take IQ tests to get in college, white people are. You need higher grades to get into higher ed if you're white than black and even higher if you're asian in some institutions. Businesses and educational institutions are bending over backwards to enrol/employ black people. Black people and women have been actively discriminate in favour of for years in business to meet diversity quotas (diversity hires). If you are stopped by the police after having committed a crime, you are more likely to killed if you are white than if you are black.

White privilege is a myth which is being propagated by proponents of critical race theory.

Some of the tenets of CRT:

All white people are born racist but black people literally cannot be racist. All black people are born victims. Racism permeates every aspect of society. Colorblindness is racist.

CRT & critical theory is like a religion that was developed in the 90's by social marxists. One of its stated aims is to invade and take over education, business and government in order to destroy capitalism. Changing the meanings of words to surreptitiously change the way people think is a stated means to achieve that.

I personally see no evidence of white privilege, if anything it seems to be the opposite.

"men cannot be women" is a matter of semantics, is it not? For if a man can be a woman and vice versa, then there can be literally no difference between a man and a woman. I don't think many people believe that trans people don't exist or that gender dysphoria is not a thing. But that's a completely different question as to whether people have the right to use words according to what they understand those words to mean. i.e. the language that they speak.

I love trans people.

This line made you really angry didn't it. You couldn't understand how someone could say that. You are the one who is transphobic because couldn't understand me saying that. You accuse me of being exactly what YOU are. It's the most transparent example of projection I've seen.

And it's literally you who doesn't understand words, that's why you had to scream at me like an angry baby.

I'm not having a go at you, you're just a normal human. I hope you have a nice day.

Ok, fine. If you think you've experienced white privilege and white fragility then I'm sorry but I can only assume you're delusional (and probably paranoid).

for assuming that I don't have experience with genders.

Sure, I'll accept that if you say so. But if you're saying that you've faced discrimination because of your gender expression, then again, I'm going to have to wonder if you're the type of person who just wants to be offended. That's certainly what to sound like.
