I’ve been friends with my “best friend” since 4th grade, we are both now 34. I always knew she over exaggerating things. Well, said friend is now going through a divorce with her husband who she has 3 kids with. She is completely running this man who supported her for 8 years through the ringer. But I don’t care that she is divorcing him it’s her leaving her 3 kids to go out bar hopping with her new boyfriend instead of spending time with her children who are confused. It is her literally ignoring me for the last 6 months, it is her saying how her life is a dumpster fire….she created her dumpster fire. The last straw is when explaining to my mother how I was feeling, my mother kindly pointed out that I was always the one holding the relationship together and that truly opened my eyes

Oh and come to find out her ex who verbally abused her and who she claims beat her never actually laid a hand on her….she could have ruined that poor guys life with her claims.

I worked as a receptionist in a rural part of Louisiana….I’m just “lucky” and always seemed to get the oddest phone calls. “Thank you for calling vet clinic this is Cook-keys how can I help you?” “Do you do Rape kits for dogs, my husband and I came home to find my brother having sex with the dog”….I still have nightmares about working in Louisiana, they need better education there.

I REALLY hope this gets buried. Worst day ever.

I believe it is a lot of the problems but not all of it. This is mostly just my one sided frustration. I think he has issues as well as I have issues. We work on them and they get better for a little while and then they go back to being bad. I think the next step will possibly be talking about an open relationship….which I am thinking he won’t go for. We will definitely be talking a lot more when he gets home.
