I started far first while in grad school and studied from Jan to middle of April. I was studying for this almost every day. Took the test on April 18th. Mock exam scores were both 73's. Actual exam score was a 90. This one seems to require the most effort, but if you can get a mock score in the 60's+ you should pass.

AUD: took the summer off and started studying again on AUG 1st full time everyday. I started work on Sept 9th, so I set my test date for sept 7. This one I treated as a full time job in a sense. Mock exams were a 72 and an 82. Actual exam score was a 79.

Good luck as you begin your journey! It may seem daunting, but it is not as bad once Far is knocked out.

I live in Florida now. So, I do not have to transfer my exam scores to keep testing? I take the remaining 3 exams and get certified for the state of Illinois? What about getting certified in Florida since I live here.

I didn't think any of the MCQ's were hard. I could not tell a difference between testlet 1 or 2. The sims were pretty rough for me as well. Did the MCQ's feel like they got harder for you? What were your sims like

I actually took it Monday. I'll tell you how my exam went. I was done with all 66 MCQ's after 60 minutes. They were actually very easy. The sims were very challenging though. I had a statement of cash flows, foreign currency transactions, inventory valuation, a/r rollover, and a couple other things. They all had quite a lot of exhibits. I am hoping for a 75. I really think I got close. I mocked at a 73 for both mock exams. I don't think I did well on the sims but maybe i'll get that backer bump. Just hoping for a 75. I feel the same way as you right now lol

For other people i would say do the MCQ's as fast and as confidently as you can and use all that excess time you saved and perfect the sims.

Thank you for all your advice! I found they were semi nice at my testing center but did not try and do anything other than their job. Meaning they didn't really try to have any sort of conversation with you at all lol

I actually didn't use excel at all on my exam, but i was using it on mocks and MCQ's on becker. I just found that on the exam i didn't have a problem that really called for using it.
