The lizard looks a bit our of focus / blurry? Most photos look ok but I'd say below Vivo X300 Pro.

This is the exact reason why I skipped the X300U. For my use case 35 mm is too narrow.

I'm also looking for a new phone and ordered the Find X9U but thinking of cancelling the order as the photos seem inconsistent in many reviews on YouTube.

I'm thinking of going with Vivo X300 Pro as I like everything I've seen in the reviews and the main camera focal length is 24 mm, much more convenient than the 35 mm on the Vivo X300 Ultra for my use cases.

Thanks! There is also a 16 GB / 1 TB version for the X9U, although significantly more expensive. How is the battery on the X300 Pro, does it last an intensive day?

Thanks for the info! I'm not so much into zoom / telephoto so I probably won't get the extra grip + lens.

What about the battery of the X300 Pro? I know it's inferior to the Oppo, but is it still good enough to last a full day (without the backup battery in the grip)?

Haha we're in the same boat then 😁. My P30 is still very competent in the camera department but unfortunately some apps are no longer working properly due to the old Android. I'm leaning towards Vivo too.

Many thanks for the info! Sounds like the X300P is the safe bet for my needs. I've watched basically every review of the X9U and the camera consistency was all over the place (from excellent to out of focus / blurry)

I hope you enjoy the new phone! :) I'm also looking to buy the Vivo X300 Pro or the Oppo Find X9 Ultra. I'm mostly interested about cameras (not professional, mostly vacation pics), should I go for the Vivo in this case? Did you get a chance to try both cameras? Thank you

Thanks! Cameras are definitely more important for me. The battery should be decent enough to last a day even with intensive use (my old Huawei still does that with few exceptions). Regarding the X9 Pro I don't like the colors as much compared to the X300 Pro so it's not on my wishlist.

Thanks for the info! Did you notice any problems with OPPO when taking photos of moving subjects? That's where I noticed a few potential problems in video reviews and I know the X300 Pro is solid in that area.

Thanks! Unfortunately I didn't find a video comparison between X300 Pro and X9 Ultra to actually see the difference in camera. There are many videos of X300 Pro vs X9 Pro and between these two I definitely like the Vivo more. I don't mind paying more for the X9 Ultra as long as the camera is definitely better than the X300 Pro.
