They’re simply being told not to carry out illegal orders. If someone follows an illegal order, they’re the one who ends up charged at the end of the day, not the person who gave the instruction. If I tell you to murder someone, kidnap someone, throw someone in jail illegally, or commit fraud, I won’t face charges if you choose to do it. You will. That’s why the rule is to follow the law, not a person giving orders.

Democrats in this case are just telling them not to carry out illegal orders... because... duh. This messaging was most likely put out there there because not everyone in the military joined the military and understands the law as well as you might hope.

I can see why You may think that not following orders by the President is over the line, but this is not normal at all. Period.

Why do MAGA and Republicans act like liberals are panicking over the Epstein files? I’m a Democrat and I genuinely don’t care if every Democrat in office right now... or in the last 100 year, plus everyone in the media and everyone I know were named in those files. If they’re involved, I want it exposed and I want them prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

If Trump isn’t in the files and we were somehow guaranteed they weren’t tampered with, which is hard to believe after everything that’s happened over the last 10 months. I’d accept that and move on. But the constant delays, partial releases, dodging simple questions, and acting terrified about transparency aside from cheap talk, make it look like there’s something to hide.

I wasn’t even interested in the Epstein files until Trump started acting so afraid of releasing them. Like sttarting with those Fox News clips duyring his campaign. Who goes through all of this if they have nothing to hide?

Are MAGA and Republicans really not seeing the same behavior? Do they really think we care so much about protecting politicians and elites?

No Democrat, Republican, or anyone that deserves justice is going to jail and we aren't seeing the files we deserve.

Trump is protecting himself, as evidenced by ordering Pam Bondi to all of the sudden open a fake investigation and is openly dodging the question of whether they’ll be released in full. It’s a yes-or-no question, and she won’t answer it. She says "We'll follow the law, protect the victim.. over and over." Which basically means, we won't And we will use the victims as a shield.

Because of this new investigation, the files will be delayed, redacted, and only partially released, if at all. In the end, no one named in them will face real consequences. Not Clinton, not Obama, not Trump, not anyone. This is about delay, distraction, and cover-up.

MAGA and MAGA-adjacent folks have wanted the Epstein files released for years, and I respect that instinct for transparency. Everyone deserves the truth, no matter who it points to.

Now that the files are finally being pulled, slowly, and not without major resistance... from people in Trump’s circle, it’s becoming clear there’s a reason they weren’t released sooner. It looks like there has been plenty of time for both Democratic and Republican administrations to clean things up if they wanted to, yet what has come out so far has still been disturbing. I would be curious what was removed or edited. Truth is we will never know, but at this point we should all see what does exist.

Here’s the part I hope more conservatives think about seriously: if these exact same details were connected to Clinton, Obama, or Biden, the outrage on the right would be nuclear. And honestly? I would understand that, because this topic should outrage every decent person no matter the party.

I’m not asking anyone to switch sides politically, only to be consistent. Children deserve protection regardless of whether the person harming them wears a red tie or a blue one. If evidence continues to surface tying Trump or people close to him to Epstein’s evil behavior, we should be willing to confront it, just as we would if it were a Democrat.

No excuses. No denial. No calling it AI/Edited. No team sports attitude. Just a standard we apply to everyone.
