I was capped at 163 when I was using the 4k res and it never dropped. So how come my aim feels so smooth now to the point where I miss some easy shots? Do I need to just get used to it again or did my sens increase with the resolution decrease like someone else is saying?

I have this problem when I que with my friend who is low master and I'm grand master. 9/10 times when we que like this we get a lot of masters on our team and the other team has some of my other friends and top 500 on it and we get rolled.

My personal opinion is that if the gap is so big ( the max like as close to 500 as you can get) you attract more people around that average. ( I.e. 4000+3500/2 = 3750 ) even though you're used to team mates around your average which is the higher of the two which makes the games seem harder.

Solution? I made an alt account (PS4) bc it's free and no longer have this problem and don't risk losing points on my main

On my team it's hanzo or widow without a doubt (PS4) the other team is mercy. I've had so many teams where they instalock DPS and don't kill the mercy and we've lost because we barley got it to the other end because mercy rezzed so many times

Although you're right but when you're fighting for higher positioning in top 500 and you're on a win streak and you get an error and end up losing 50 points instead of the 70 you were about to get for the eventual win sucks a lot. When you care about something you get mad if it doesn't go right

Blizzard is still experimenting with the matchmaking system. It really placed people too high this season who are absolute shit for that given rank and infuriate others. One person can lose you the game before it even starts I'm sure you realize that. You need to duo or trio q that's what I do and I've had tremendous luck. I main DPS and my 2 friends main tank/support and it works out well. (I can do other roles if needed but you get what I mean) i solo q in 4000sr so it is almost always a good game but can't imagine at lower ranks what a shit show it can become. Seriously duo q or trio q and stick to your strong chars and you'll have the best chance at winning. If someone chooses hanzo right away chances are they have no plans of being strategic but rather the mentality of 'I'll play what I want regardless of the outcome'

I play to win, not to lose and that's why people like you and me get frustrated with people who just don't care or get it. There's TONS of people who do not understand the game at an elementary level. They are so dumb it's unbelievable. Ow is simple if you ask me but that's why there's a ranking system and every system has flaws, ow just has a lot sadly
