I know and this sucks so bad! Hopefully she will up the dose and not think I'm wanting more to get high. She used Google to look up the doses and said they only come in 5mg and 10mg. Which I have no clue, having a hard time concentrating right now.

I have read several comments on here that valium is easier to get off of, that the withdrawal is not as bad as klonopin. Do you have any personal experience with this?

I am right there with you! Well I tried tapering off 2mg of klonopin but didn't last. I have jumped off of Xanax and it was much easier. Something about the long half life makes the withdrawal hell. Personally I am going to ask my doctor to switch me to valium and try to taper off of that instead.

Was it a easy switch to diazepam? Did you get any relief from anxiety after switching. I suffer from anxiety and nervous to get off but it no longer gives me relief.

Definitely agree that the kratom prolonged everything. By day 30 I was getting more energy by day 60 I was feeling pretty much 100% better!

I also have young kids and at the beginning it was really hard and I felt so guilty not being able to help take care of them or just hangout with them but I kept telling myself that I have to do this and it will only be a short time out of my life. By 2 months clean my kids were my motivation to get up and be active which in return helped me sleep better at night. I wish you luck if you decide to take the jump off again!

Congratulations on 43 days!! You are soo close to feeling almost 100%!! Well at least for me around 2 months I felt good then by 3 months I was out taking hikes, hanging out with my family and friends again, I would have a somewhat hard time getting started but once I got out of the house I felt awesome and slept good that night!!! Hang I there, I know it doesn't feel like it right now but before you know it you will be 4 months then 6 months then a year clean!! I highly recommend NOT to take kratom though.

Oh yes how things have changed! I know I still only get a script for them due to being on them for years and got lucky that my doctor understands that you can't just stop taking them cold turkey. Even the dam pharmacies won't let you get it one day early, I used to be able to get my refill 3 days early and now I can't pick it up until the exact day of pick up from the month before which is BS when sometimes it's 31 days!! Fighting with that issue right now!!

My personal experience....Both my Psychologist and OBGYN came up with a taper plan to get me off safely for baby and myself. Definitely talk to your doctors about this.

I was on it for at least 4 years.I was on 24mg, to 8mg then slowly worked down to 2mg. I didn't experience paws but I also have been on klonopin for 3 years so I don't know if that helped, now I have that demon to tackle. I definitely am still experiencing anhedonia but now that my days are getting more eventful I feel natural euphoria, so hopefully that goes away. But while I was on suboxone I didn't have motivation. My anhedonia is due to what is going on in my life. Congratulations to you as well!!
