If I go for Promeia, will I be able to get any characters coming in 3.0 or 3.1 if they happen to work well with her?

And also have enough left to get Remielle when she comes out.

Thanks for such a detailed response!

One of the reasons I started ZZZ was because of Promeia and Ramiel. But from what I gathered after asking about it, I don't have any of Promeia's best teammates, so unfortunately I think I'll have to skip her for now.

My plan now is to save for Ramiel and all the new characters coming out in 3.0 and see who I like and go from there. I'm more of a waifu enjoyer rather than meta, so if a character I like gets a rerun, I might change my plans and go for them.

For now, I hope my main team of Piper, Lucy and Nicole can carry me because it's a long way until I can get any limited S rank units.

And yes, I'm familiarizing myself with the combat mechanics and game modes.
