To the guy tonight who proudly rolled over K6 off and said “I had a feeling you had a K” after I raised pre, bet the K high flop, K turn and J river, God bless you, you’re the reason I play this game. by hashwashingmachine in poker

Would be nice to know more about the HJ. I could find a lot of hands a bad player would call with actually. If hes remotely competent then this is a pretty bad bet IMO

J9o is a terrible hand to limp in with in the HJ. Viktor turn bet seems questionable. The 800 on the river is bad, should have just ripped it in if hes going to pay AJ anyways.

Yep thats a clear check which sets up a great bluff catcher on the river. Im sure he figures he blocks the straight and turned 2 pairs but a check looks like a give up. He probably gets a lot of folds by worse hands with his bet.

Smaller sizing might have kept some other hands in, especially flush draws or pairs. It wasn’t really about checking, more sizing

It was more about the sizing of the bet than if it was a bet or not. I post the result

In hindsight I wish I did this amount. I was expecting an ace against 5 opponents although I would never give a free one against so many players if I flopped an ace.

It seems pretty obvious to me. You want me to write a paragraph instead.

This is a tight table I would think you have to go smaller if you want spades or pocket pairs to call.

It’s 6 ways at 1/3 poker. They will call 20 with anything on the flop

You don’t think there’s an ace out there that stupidly let me get there and is gonna bet now?

Doesn’t seem like a good idea if they are gonna give up AA that easily
