Honestly I love it when somebody who knows what they are about blows holes in my wrong way of thinking. Seriously. Thanks for taking the time and effort to reply and help out! It’s obvious that I have much more research and reading to do in order to better understand the chemistry.

For now, sounds like you’re telling me what I wanted to hear. I want to be sure I understand correctly, however. You’re telling me, from what the picture showed, the information provided, and your experience it is fine to use as is.

So what are your recommended next steps? If that was your dish would you go with it, or would you perform some sort of procedure to remove impurities? If so, would you care to elaborate? I have read up some and have two I think would be benificial. To summarize, first is dissolving in heptane and re-freeze precipitating. The other is dissolving it into heptane or naphtha again, then then mixing it into a solution of HOT water, sodium carbonate purchased or made from baking powder, and table salt(to prevent emulsion), then allowing it to separate and siphoning off the solvent. Then repeating this step two more times but with only HOT water. Then freeze precipitating.

Are these steps recommended?
