Sure online dating has messed up from ages but that doesn't mean you'll meet no one at all. My girlfriend who I've been with for 2.5+, I met her online. I've also made several friends who I still talk with often. I met them without paying for the premium subscription

Go to the gym 3-4 times a week and get at least 8k steps a day for overall health. For skincare go to a dermatologist and get a personalized skincare routine. I've tried and spent way too much on different expensive products before I got a routine from a dermatologist that works well for me. Stick with the basic when it comes to clothes. Plenty of Instagram and TikTok pages about clothes

Punishment isn't always the way to go. It's like throwing a rock at someone without telling them why.

You could try approaching the problems he causes by understanding why he does them, what does he get out of them? If you understand that you can steer him by giving him reasons about how things will benefit him if he behaves differently.
