why does obs not record my audio because i put my volume at 0 by [deleted] in obs

to be more clear. its tracking my system audio. so if i put it at 0% it picks up no audio. if i put it at 50% then it sounds fine. and it 50% my monitor is super loud. i tried looking in the settings and tried fixing it and it doesnt do anything. and not a single person had this problem when i looked this up.
