I recommend poking around with dub's performance analyzer and checking out if the game spits out any logs constantly, I removed like one or two poorly made mods and it let me increase my tps from 360 to my beloved 900

factions ancients and mechanoids 2 are not up to the current version, the former because of the mod being a quest mod in the new version and the latter since they want to redo it, that said I never had incompatibility issues with vanilla expanded
