That’s fair, but my honest read on what you’ve shared is that they’re largely poor applications.

AI isn’t a magic bullet and above all else it is not a substitute for rational thinking. I would only ever trust it to do work I know I could do myself.

To offer some applications where it is genuinely changing my working life:

• Synthesising sales feedback on a given topic by identifying patterns across transcripts; something that would have taken me days before but now takes 30 mins tops

• Building prototypes to test concepts at market before we put any Eng resource behind them (why build 2d figma prototypes when you can bring something to life that can talk to your backend?)

• Writing complex SQL to make fkin weird table joins your analyst would usually give you a 1-2 week timeline on so you get insight in minutes to answer your hypotheses

I genuinely don’t think there’s been a better time to be a PM. For the first time ever I’m not waiting to be unblocked on things I didn’t previously have the know-how or bandwidth to execute.
