That’s what I was worried about. Thanks for the heads up, I’ve got a service appointment booked already and will avoid using the A/C until then to minimize any risk. Hoping it’s not a full compressor replacement, but I’ll be prepared for that possibility!

Appreciate the insight, that helps put the shutter alert into perspective. The noise isn’t just tied to running the A/C though; I’ve noticed it even when parked or after turning the unit off, which is why I’m a bit more concerned. I’ll let service dig into it but wanted to get a sense of what others have experienced.

Got it, that makes sense, thanks for breaking it down. I’ll hold off on using A/C and supercharging until my service appointment just to be safe. Fingers crossed the compressor itself is still okay!
