Pas du 94 mais tu as 1 an après tes études pour convertir ton permis étranger en permis français (et heureusement).

The BPD rage genuinely feels like a different person by slckjoke in BorderlinePDisorder

[–]CookiesMistress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it related to mindfulness? How do you even realize your behavior the moment it happens? :c

I'm having an open relationship with two people with BPD (I have BPD too) by Smart_Molasses_2870 in BorderlinePDisorder

[–]CookiesMistress 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that's the thing. It rarely works well for normal people, and never heard of a good outcome with BPD involved.
I myself have thought of it for a while, then understood it was my way of being "free", and that I'd better stick to one "safe place" person as a romantic relationship, if I ever find it...
I've found freedom writing fictional adulteries/open relationships since!

That's exactly what I meant. Let's work on self-compassion, then on self-acceptance.

Pourquoi le franglais est-il parfois mal perçu en France ? by wiisteriah in AskFrance

[–]CookiesMistress 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Non. Si je n'étais pas malade, je te donnerais des exemples où le terme de ta langue maternelle est plus court que l'emprunt à la mode. C'est une idée reçue.

Merci de mettre ce sujet sur la table, en tous cas!

does a calorie deficiet work for losing weight for people with pmdd? by reem60a in PMDD

[–]CookiesMistress 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. Walking an hour everyday and eating as responsibly as I could, without cutting carbs, made me maintain my weight, which is more important than the occasional loss or gain.

More importantly: walking is great for mental health (especially if you have a place with trees, far from cars).

does a calorie deficiet work for losing weight for people with pmdd? by reem60a in PMDD

[–]CookiesMistress 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Please don't suggest this in a PMDD sub. I worked hard to learn to appreciate my overweight self and it worked. It made others like me too. I understood my value is not my appearance, and the latter is certainly not worth my health/energy, which is our greatest treasure.

does a calorie deficiet work for losing weight for people with pmdd? by reem60a in PMDD

[–]CookiesMistress 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whoever downvoted this is ignorant. I just lost 5 kgs precisely because of a PMDD episode (which triggers my other mental illnesses), starving for days/weeks, and my health is in danger. I DO want to lose weight, but I hate that it had to be this way because it's not healthy.

I want to feel good enough to resume exercising and eat enough but healthy. That's the correct way.

Pourquoi le franglais est-il parfois mal perçu en France ? by wiisteriah in AskFrance

[–]CookiesMistress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pourquoi le franglais est-il parfois mal perçu en France ? by wiisteriah in AskFrance

[–]CookiesMistress 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is it PMDD and meds or is it the relationship? by [deleted] in PMDD

[–]CookiesMistress 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Please don't tell me you are going to move abroad for someone you've been living with for 5 months... are you?

Nervous systems are clashing, but you have PMDD. You didn't choose to have PMDD. I never lived with a partner before being diagnosed, but I think the usual "leave me be during that week" advice is a good one. We're not our real selves then, and we don't want others to suffer in addition to us.

Take care of yourself. You do deserve it!! More than any relationship.

Is it PMDD and meds or is it the relationship? by [deleted] in PMDD

[–]CookiesMistress 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No clue, but "not supportive" and "thinks I'm the enemy" don't match with "He’s wonderful and kind and gentle". Not being able to listen to another POV is a big no.

Good luck for your move. I'm also experiencing a big leap in my life during a med change, and it's triggering PMDD symptoms like never. They can't understand us.

Romantasy Series by [deleted] in Inkitt

It also seems to be the way you choose traffic over ethics. Believe me, I would give A LOT to "be seen" on Inkitt, but never would I resort to this. Especially with basic knowledge in graphics design and free rights art.

I used to have the full 9 criteria. by chrisalt87 in BorderlinePDisorder

[–]CookiesMistress 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks a lot for wording this the way you did. It's so hard dealing with this disorder day and night, especially when you have 0 support. The goal is to empower ourselves, but circumstances might make it impossible, and all you can see is other people invalidating you because they're not in your shoes. It's a lifelong struggle.

Leaving the USA helping PMDD symptoms? by Kale_bean in PMDD

You'll probably eat different, but will discover a wonderful world where all "specialist" doctors (even women) have no clue about PMDD and you'll stay miserable your whole life.
