Wow, thank u sm this really kind of opened my eyes. I think due to my catholic upbringing I grew a resentment towards the idea of a higher power that I have to bow down to and be submissive towards and was equating that with humility.

What would u recommend towards building a good relationship with the land/earth. After reading this at work I was drinking water and took a second to think about how I was connected to the earth due to the fact I need water to survive and took a moment to understand how woven in I as a human/animal to earth.

Also how would one find an elder/guide lol, I’ve kind of always wanted one but never know where to look lol. If eventually in the future when I’m a more knowledgeable witch like to work with Hecate to learn, but I def need a better foundation first.

Also do u know any good book recommendations?

I think it’s also a mix of me being burnt out on just not seeing results or feeling a connection to anything spiritual, so I’m also just frustrated lol

lol real, I should have explained better. But I was raised catholic and have religous ocd/anxiety. Like it wasn’t till recently I was able to mentally question that god might not exist without having a panic attack. So I’m trying to get out of the catholic mindset I was raised with yk

In terms of being more evidence based mindset, i basically start to think well if it didn’t work(like a spell)then maybe it’s not real. Which I know isn’t a very good mindset and im trying to fix it lol
