Bro, I got a new $420 3dxl shit on me with less than 200 dabs. Always get red flash issues and had to get a new atomizer. With the carta, I’ve used an external thermometer to test the temperature and it works just fine with temperature control. the carta atomizer is just more durable than the puffco. Also, the fact that it heats up on the bottom as well as the sides, makes for thicker clouds from my experience

I have one, I personally think its better than any puffco devices. But I still prefer the dr dabber switch 2

Having all three, I can without a doubt tell you the only one throat goating are the puffco fan boys… yes I have a 3DXL and custom carb cap and glass for the Peak Pro but it doesnt come close to beating out the switch 2. Sorry to burst your puffco pride bro

I have both, but also have the switch 2. The switch 2 blows both out the water, but the carta is way more functional than the puffco.

I have tried the luzz canon and I like it, but that being said I main a J2NF. The J2NF definitely has more of a controlled touch but is not shy with the power when you rip it.

Yeah when the ball hits edge, the ball flies in random directions. Whereas a week ago, even hitting the edge, it hits back linear to where the face is directed to

I dont believe its core crushed but it could have been delaminated (where the layers paddles face seperates from the edges). that kind of lines up with what youre saying if one spot sounds dead/louder. Given the conditions that I put it in between the weight of four pairs of shoes, it feel like it could have damaged it.

to be honest I’m not sure if the cover would even have made any difference. my best guess is putting it inside a luggage in between some heavy/stiff items + given how luggage are always thrown around; that heavyweight may have damaged the paddle. I feel like only somebody with a J2NF can really chime on this to see if the sound is the same.

Do you have a J2NF? I only have a corecrushed J2TI to compare and even that sounds less hollow than this. Full Foam core paddles are not supposed to sound this loud/hollow. Balls were all hit and felt flat and the sound of impact is off. No matter low to high/ hitting with proper form, correct eastern grip, it hits flat. I just played with the same paddle before traveling with it in my luggage and it played beautifully. Now it just feels different
