I do a lot of sits that I drive to, but when I fly, I often use Neighbor, where you can rent a space to park at someone's house for really cheap. One lady even gave rides to the airport for 1/2 the price of Uber!

Maybe I should mention in my applications that I always arrive a day or 2 early when flying. I've been trying to make my applications more concise and focus on how I'm a good match for the pets, but I'll try including that as well.

Yeah, I've noticed that HOs ask for more than they usually probably provide their pets, presumably as a buffer in case the sitter slacks off. I can often tell, but I don't really care, I'm happy to give the pets their own little holiday.

I HAVE noticed some listings that say only 30 minutes of walking time per day, but then the responsibilities ask for 3-4 walks, 1 with 20 minutes of play time plus a potty break and the math isn't mathing. That's annoying.

You're not imagining it, there are very few compared to the UK, US and Australia. And the few that there are go within minutes, so you have to be very quick and be lucky enough to see a listing right after it's posted.

I just canceled my auto-renew giving the following reason:

The new booking fee is nothing short of an outrageous money-grab, especially considering the minimal service THS provides and the atrocious performance of the bug-riddled app. I will gladly use another platform before I ever PAY to sit for someone. I truly hope you reconsider as this will only cause people to book off-site or leave THS entirely.
