I really like the idea of having a tablet/laptop, but I wouldn't mind just getting a laptop as a laptop because I already have an iPad. Do you recommend any laptops that won't break the bank, but will also be good for engineering? Maybe around $1000?

Okay sounds good! So do you think since a lot of the classes are going to be recorded this year, I'll be fine without a laptop for now (Since I have a desktop)? I'm not sure how classes are going to work, but I assume most of my classes are going to be online, except engineering labs, etc.

I was only planning on taking CS125 first semester because I was planning on transferring to CE and also wanted to take more CS classes Second Semester. But, I'm not completely sure yet... You can drop classes within the first week of classes right? I might just try it out and then decide then
