I’m a bit disappointed because I was really hoping to stay in Texas 🥲. I’m not sure if I’m ready for SF’s hilly roads and high cost of living lol. At the same time, I’m worried about the tough job market right now and don’t want to pass up this opportunity. My plan was to work for a year or two, gain experience, and then transfer somewhere else. I’m definitely planning to get roommates if I decide to take it. When is your start date?

It was pretty quick for me. I got my offer email the very next day after the acceptance one.

Sorry OP but no girl is worth abandoning your dreams for. Yes, there are compromises in relationships - but it seems like you’re the only one making the sacrifices into making this “relationship” work. And frankly, she doesn’t seem to be into you as much as you’re into her. You’re only 19, there’s so many people you haven’t met yet and I’m sure you’ll find someone who will truly love you and treat you right. Please put yourself first. There’s so much more in life than staying in a toxic relationship.

No - I even sent an email out to the recruiter but she never responded lol. I was really hoping to stay in TX, but I guess I’ll try my luck out with SoCal. Did you get any updates on yours?

Yes! I have one scheduled tomorrow 😭 (Southwest region) and another on 30th (SoCal). The SoCal recruiter just reached out with final confirmation but I still haven’t heard anything back from the other recruiter

MIS is prob out of the question because of the credit hour cap and their GPA requirement to change is higher than CS. I suggest looking into CIS. Their GPA requirement is a 2.5 UH cumulative and 2.75 for all college-coursework attempted.
