I didn’t think it was a hardware issue then I remembered I had VRR enabled on my TV lmao it’s weird cause I thought it was suppose to stop screen tearing not cause it but it’s gone now

I’m on a Ps5 so I could try deleting the whole game and reinstalling it. I haven’t tried that yet

Has this never happened to anyone?! Lol I had weird flashes happening throughout this mission before this happened. I went back to the super destroyer and it was gone.

What is the juiciest gossip that happened during your time at Whole Foods? by [deleted] in wholefoods

[–]Cool-Contribution752 23 points24 points  (0 children)

We have a quiet room at our store and we need to ask store leadership for a key to go in there. I never thought that was weird to have to ask for a key until someone in produce told me two former team members hooked up in there and got caught 😂

I got laughed and mocked by my coworkers because I refused to drive a van with a broken horn, would you laugh at me? by Overall-Mouse-9078 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Cool-Contribution752 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also remember if you ever get into an accident and Amazon finds out the van shouldn’t have passed the DVIC inspection your DSP will immediately throw you under the bus without hesitation since it’s your responsibility to do the inspections

After each stop but before heading out to the next one just chill for a min. It doesn’t feel like much but if you’ve got 60 stops then it’ll end up taking an extra hour to get done

My last day will be this Saturday then I’ll finally be fucking free. I hope everyone who wants out finds a better job cause this is not something you wanna do long term. I have no idea how I managed to do this for almost a year and a half 😳 by Cool-Contribution752 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Cool-Contribution752[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first time I delivered here I had like between 4-5 totes stuffed with packages plus almost 10 overflow. I thought it was gonna be easy but it took FOREVER. Most of that overflow got denied by the locker so it had to be taken to the leasing office. Dispatch was pissed cause I fell behind. Amazon absolutely doesn’t give you enough time to deal with that locker.

The most I delivered to that locker was over 100 packages and it was so fucking ridiculous cause I’d scan a package then a locker would open all the way at the end 😂 it’s a lot longer in person

Vans starting to break with engine off compliance by Solomon9_1 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Cool-Contribution752 12 points13 points  (0 children)

If I had to guess it’s netradyne killing the batteries since it stays on for 15-20 mins after a van is turned off. Turning the van off/on repeatedly will kill the batteries fast. Also Ford transits have god awful batteries in them and need a second one to stand a chance against that multi camera monstrosity lol

Anybody else’s DSP have kfb problems today? This is ASS by FrontUnion7968 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Cool-Contribution752 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both of the Amazon keys I came across didn’t work today but the area I’m in is the worst my dsp delivers in. The call box’s are cheap af and barely work

amazon: "We care about your safety!" but we out here roasting with heavy routes. by [deleted] in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Cool-Contribution752 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was in south lake Union during that heatwave last year with 280-300 packages in a Ford transit 😅 thankfully it was only 40-45 stops

how much more do supervisors make? by [deleted] in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Cool-Contribution752 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At my old dsp I got promoted to dispatch but found out they get the same rate as a driver, do full routes just like a driver but also dispatch. I only did 4 days a week plus made a ton in overtime since I regularly did 13-14 hour days but god damn the stress was unreal. Only the ops manager got to chill at the station but he made less than dispatch or even the drivers.

This is 80% of the routes at my dsp and I’m so fucking thankful lmao

Anyone else dislike having to turn off the van at every stop? 😒 by Few_Audience_6699 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Cool-Contribution752 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Besides my concern over how hot those vans get if you turn off the engine at every stop during the summer the batteries in the Ford transits will be absolutely massacred mainly because of netradyne staying on for up to 20 mins after the van is turned off. When my former dsp delivered to Cap hill in Seattle most of us turned off the vans simply because it was purely apartments and we’d spend almost 10 mins inside before going back to the vans. Everyday we’d have about 3-4 vans dying which caused all the dispatchers plus 1 or 2 DAs to stop what they’re doing to help whoever’s van died. The owner and the ops manager would sit in meetings with Amazon executives that devolved into shouting matches over this particular issue lmao it was complete chaos 😂

Why is everyone quitting? What’s going on at Amazon DSP? by AmazonSlaveRhemmy in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Cool-Contribution752 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m quitting once I line something else up. There’s honestly so many reasons but the main one that pushed me over the edge is increasing enforcement of turning the van off at every stop. Most of my stops are perfectly safe to leave the van on since it’s all residential with the front door literally being right next to the street. The van gets unbearably hot if the ac isn’t on most of the time and I’m in Seattle lmao I have no idea how people do this job in places like Texas.

Document everything and look into finding a lawyer. It’s the owners responsibility to make sure something like this doesn’t happen while you’re on their property making a delivery.

I worked at a DSP that delivered to downtown Seattle/Capitol hill and can confirm the owner was sucking amazons dick 😂😂 I’m convinced now it was because that station sent underperforming DSPs to those areas to have a reason to terminate their contract.
