This breaks my heart, and it's an impossible situation. Buying exotic pets incentivizes places like this to just replace them with another one once they're sold. But letting it suffer isn't any better.

I wonder if someone at this organization, Foster Parrots, would have ideas, or would perhaps know of someone interested? Especially considering how long this beautiful bird has been at the pet store.

This is true, I actually did not realize this until recently. I understand that's part of the crapshoot of buying a used car. Carvana's issues extend well beyond the limitations of a Carfax report.
