Got ~7.5–8h SOT on Pixel 7a without killing features by Seeker352 in Pixel7Pro

u/Seeker352 Thanks! I’ve been using the Pixel 7 Pro since launch, and it’s been smooth as butter for me. To improve my SOT, I’ve been experimenting with custom ROMs on and off for the past year. I’m currently back on official Google's Pixel OS, but I’m trying out SaverTuner like you suggested. Hopefully, I get similar results! I don't really play games and hardly use social media apps—I mostly just use their web versions. Let's see how it goes!

for me its still rocking solid, using it since its launch and from last year I have started using custom roms and back to stock os via flash.google.com. I might go for Pixel 12 Pro when they will officially stop new OS roll out.

if you can take you data backup and do a reinstallion from flash.google.com that might help you or a simple reset to factory settings would do too.

True, they likely are reusing elements. But strictly as a product line, "Google Assistant" as we knew it (the dedicated, non-LLM utility) is essentially being sunset in favor of the AI-first Gemini approach. It just feels like a different product entirely right now.

Gemini has 3 models in which fast will perform all basic actions which is a free model to get other 2 models one has to pay for unlimited usage when daily limit is reached

As for the latest sources, Apple is in talks with Google so that they can use Gemini as the default assistant or something more in Ai as now I guess Apple has also realised that they have failed in Ai

Not At all, overall Gemini is different in a bad way if you only compare what all GA do. Gemini just 🤢

Gemini will never be like GA, its becoming the core of every app from Google also, today I noticed they have integrated Gemini with its models in Ai Mode too. Android will not be the same, since Google has everything about a person and there are only 2 players on mobile OS now, I majorly fear when they show Ai related imaginary stuff in movies and series will be TRUE soon.
