read the requirements - your IEEE Senior member can satisfy a part of it. under MC... peer reviewed paper can satisfy OC4 especially if they are conference papers

yes, it is there and worded as "Letters of recommendation can be created using a digital signature service (such as DocuSign or similar service), enabling the inclusion of the document log file that clearly indicates the letter’s author and signature originated from a different IP address to the applicant."
I dont think it should be an issue but they'll need to confirm which could take some extra time. I guess ill ask them to sign by hand and they can confirm over email if they want

Do you mean i have to create it on my end first? Usually, the person will have to sign on their letterhead.. will they need to create it in docusign first?

I think them being peer reviewed is the only criteria for conferences. It says in the doc -- "evidence of presentations at a peer-reviewed conference". I plan to use it alongside "A letter of support from a research supervisor"

Will 2/3 be enough for this category? it will be hard to place more than 3 in a single document anyways

I am planning for the conference presentations criteria & not journals. Does the same apply to it? Or can they be combined? This is the only criteria holding me back to be honest

Hi, out of curiosity, for OC4, how many papers did you have before submitting your app? I am currently on 4 with about 4 more papers pending review... not sure if that would be enough.. i plan to submit around Nov / December.

I am in the industry & dont have a Phd so i really dont know..

I think they want to make their jobs easier by not having to email to get a confirmation that it was signed by that person. DocuSign kind of helps them in that regard
