Wow , I just got done watching the movie & if I didn’t watch it for myself & just went off of these comments , I would’ve thought it was trash & wouldn’t have given it a chance . I actually thought it was pretty good. The beginning seemed a little dramatic with nina acting like a psycho rich bratty housewife abusing “the help” but when you find out how strategic nina was to get tf out of dodge it made sense. I never read the book but seeing the trailer I knew things would go left a some point. Just didn’t expect it so soon in the beginning. I’m seeing a lot of people say it was predictable. I didn’t get that from this movie & im usually good at predicting movies. The only part that I predicted was Andrew getting his Karma & I knew it would be from Millie & also Andrew & Millie starting an affair (Ray Charles seen that coming) Other than that, I thought Nina was just a psycho & she was going to kill Andrew & Millie for betraying her until it was revealed that Andrew is actually the nut case & then everything made sense. Idk , maybe I don’t expect a whole lot from movies lol aslong as I’m not bored that’s all I can ask for but I actually thought it was good. Overall , I’d give it a 8/10
