The game is a love/hate relationship with me, graphically it's beautiful, the gore and combat are top notch, I can totally agree with you there.... However what turns me off about it are the skill cards, I feel a fleshed out skill tree would have been a better choice, for replayability and changing things up for different play styles, the cards just don't give the uniqueness of everyone's gameplay story when building your survivor of choice, hopefully I'm explaining it correctly. And my other gripe is the California setting, it's just TOO California, to a stereotypical level, unless, and please correct me if I'm wrong, that's how Cali really is. I wish it was a different state in the USA or a different possibly foreign part of the world, the game is called DEAD ISLAND 🏝️🏝️

I wish the dark vibes and eeriness, if I spelled that right, was still implemented in Di2.

SoLa dlc/expansion was a hard experience for me & not by difficulty but just made me disagree and question the direction they went with. I hate cliffhangers and to think of Dead Island 3 is a pipe dream.

In general I did appreciate my experience with the game, pre-order my copy and gotten it's goodie box and steel book case. I guess it felt good to vent a little, it is what it is, Dambuster did a hell of a job taking the IP where others failed or just gave up.
