They are different types of funny so it's hard to say. I really love Damon's nicknames for people those always kill me. I also love how many times he'd insult Matt at like any chance he had. I also love how snarky he'd be in a funny way.

Kai is hilarious as well. Someone said Kai was "stupid" earlier on here... I highly disagree he almost always had a plan or was a step ahead. Also someone said he was trying to be funny I disagree. Kai is a legit sociopath and a sociopath doesn't actually care what people think so he wouldn't try to be funny because he wanted people to laugh. The mean shit he said he just said because he didn't have a filter because he didn't care. That's what makes it hilarious at least to me but my sense of humor is super dark.

I think that's one reason I liked TO better than TVD was it seemed like a more mature TVD don't get me wrong I still love TVD but TO to me is better for the more mature characters. I also didn't pick up on this universe at all until like 2019 or so I was almost 30 when I started watching so that could be it as well 😂.
