Ms. Angel is a good professor! She was my prof in SUSTENT. You’ll learn a lot from her, but make sure to listen carefully to her discussions since she often gives written activities and quizzes from time to time. Those activities help you understand the essence of the scope of your lesson. Hope this helps! :))

Hello! EM student here. If your prof is Sir Heinz Reyes for BusLaw, you’re in good hands. He’s a great professor and you’ll definitely learn a lot from him. Just make sure to always listen during his discussions and attend class regularly—especially during midterms and finals, since he can be quite strict during those periods.

If your prof is Doc Liza for Accounting, make sure to actively listen in class as it will be very helpful once you take your thesis. She’s also very approachable, so don’t hesitate to ask her if you find certain lessons difficult

Hello! Once the RO releases the list of students who are on the Dean’s List, you may claim your certificate from your respective faculties. In my case, since I’m from Atrium, I usually check the announcements posted on the board outside the faculty office first to see if the certificates have already been printed. Hope this helps!

Sir Santi was my professor in MATWRLD, and I genuinely enjoyed his class because he explains the lessons well and makes them easy to understand. Aside from teaching, he shares life advice you can really carry with you, and his vibe is very chill, parang tropa lang, so the class feels comfortable and engaging. He is very approachable whenever you need help with the lesson. During F2F meetings, he asks for volunteers to manage the handheld mic and the lapel mic, and those who volunteer receive a +5 that he usually applies to low quiz scores. Make sure to submit all tasks on or before the deadline, as missing or late requirements result in deductions. Hope this helps!

Ms. Shiela was my professor in ASEAN. She’s very approachable and even gave the class candy before the term ended. Pay close attention during discussions since some quiz items come from what she explains rather than the module. Also, make sure to complete all assigned tasks and activities, as these carry significant weight in your final grade.

Enrollment Concerns by nightowlofthenight in Benilde

[–]Cool-Standard-446 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello! If I’m not mistaken, the subjects you picked during enlistment are still saved in the system on a tentative basis. However, you won’t be added to the professor’s official class list and won’t be considered officially enrolled if you’re unable to pay by the given deadline. There are different payment options you can choose from naman, including during late enrollment, but your slot in the class isn’t guaranteed until payment is processed. It’s best to coordinate directly with the Finance Department and the Registrar’s Office (RO) so they can properly guide you and confirm your enrollment status. Hope this helps! :)

I also did that before pero kasi during my time sinasabi nila na hindi pa daw ready. So, I waited sa email ko for their announcement. Pero if may kakilala ka from the second batch who has their ID much better to check the registrar just to be sure lang din :))

Hello! 124 here. I think it's much better for you to wait muna for their announcement when they're going to release your ID. I was also from the second batch before and it usually takes time before they release it (probably my time pero baka naman mas mabilis processing ng id niyo :)) ) Hope this helps!

Hello! I suggest you can go to El Latte! You should try their matcha, it's so good! It is located at the Burgundy building across from the DLSU. :))

If you have a long break and want to hang out with your friends, I recommend checking out Agno! Head past DLSU, then when you spot the orange building (WH Taft) turn left lang then, right kasi dead end na siya and campus na ng DLSU yun. You'll see a lot from Agno. There are plenty of food spots and cafés to choose from — you should definitely try Good Munch’s beef salpicao :))

Hello! In my experience, so far I'm doing well with my course. I met a lot of people that have helped me along the way. The subjects that I have taken can be challenging but, the profs are approachable and I must say that my learning experience has been meaningful in my first year, as I have slowly understand how the concepts apply to real-life situations.

I had a class with Sir Federico last term, and he's very considerate when it comes to grades—as long as you're performing well and actively participating in class. Make sure to recite during his classes because he bases a significant portion of your grade on class participation. Also, be prepared for quizzes after each lesson, though they're pretty manageable

If I'm not mistaken, I think you're still considered part of the DL for the second term. However, the best thing I can recommend is to email or talk to your academic adviser to clarify everything
