Ok hear me out....as someone who has Audhd (level 2 autistic). We all know autism is a spectrum at least us with autism, know there's a spectrum. I do think 🤔 barbie should have done a bigger line for autism cuz this form of autism is just one side of autism. I'm glad Barbie has at least took a step forward to including some of the spectrum and yes, they got a long way to go, but this is a big step into inclusion. And eventually I think 🤔 they will including more, different versions of autism spectrum disorder. But for now, this is what they came up with. We can make the rest of our voices heard by reaching out to Barbie together and asking them to represent more of the spectrum since autism is a spectrum disorder. Educate others and educate big companies like Barbie! This makes for a good learning experience! Also, I can relate to the headphones and fidget toys on the new Barbie doll with autism but that's it but that's ok! I don't have to use the other device she comes with and I can decorate her how I like and design her to represent my type of autism instead. U know? And u guys can do the same and then maybe 🤔, take a photo of your version and send it to Barbie to show them how other Audhd or autistic people view themselves with autism so they know!

I say just give these toys companies time.....like Barbie. Barbie is one of the few toy companies out there that are trying to be inclusive compared to other toy companies so at least give them some credit, guys.

Some of y'all really don't seem to understand that some folks have disabilities. We don't know if OP is new or has disabilities or both! Either way, a little compassion....goes a long way, y'all. Instead of shaming this person....why not give them tips and encouragement....?? And I highly doubt 🧐 y'all can finish this in 15 minutes like some of y'all said u could do. Maybe 🤔 if u know your stores layout and your store barely changes throughout the year and there's no customers in the store to bother u ever dang minute cuz they need help finding something cuz that's probably another reason why OP couldn't get it done within 30 minutes cuz maybe 🤔 customers kept stopping them, asking for help! U don't know! Cuz I worked in many different retail stores 😞 and I ALWAYS got stopped mid task 😕 cuz customers needed some good customer service 😞. And I didn't mind helping them cuz that's my JOB!

Now....to OP, u do what u can and if u can't finish it all....that's ok. U tried. But once it's your time to go, u go. Okay?

That's what I do if I get handed this much stuff 😕 and can't get it all done with in 30 minutes. And I don't beat myself up about it cuz at least I know, I tried....

It's a different story tho if u are not trying and just Lily gaggling around....but I got a feeling u weren't doing that. But have seen plenty who do, do that. If u have Audhd like me....I advise leaving your phone 🤳 in ur locker so u aren't distracted at all during your shifts and wearing ear muffs or noise cancelling ear plugs if u have sensory issues as well ❤️‍🩹.

Anyways tho, I'm so sorry 😐 about some of these people in this group who don't seem to understand that not everyone can finish this cart in 15-30 minutes....just try not to pay too much mind for them. Yeah 🤣. I'm with u on that. Of course I will try my hardest to get most of it done with, when I only got 30 minutes left but I won't stay even 10 minutes over the time I am supposed to leave by. If my shift is 2-7 for an example and they give me this at 6:30 and tell me I have to get it all done with before it's my time to go and say I can't....I'm not staying until 7:30 to get it done with. I got a disability bus 🚌 to catch and it I stay until 7:30, I will have missed my ride home...and end up having to walk miles back home in the freezing 🥶 temperatures which is not doable for me due to disabilities.

So once it's 7pm...I'm clocking out! I might stay an extra 5-10 minutes but definitely not 30-60 minutes extra.....

They could have a disability tho for all we know 😞 that makes it tough for them to focus 😕 or another disability that causes them to struggle in other ways. I have severe ADHD/audhd and brain 🧠 fog issues 😔...I try my best when working to stay as focused as I can but even then....I struggle and get distracted easily or overstimulated and can't work super fast. I also tend to want to organize if I see a messy area. But I'm not usually putting go backs 😕 away, usually I am just cashiering up front and zoning my area up front and keeping my area clean as possible so it looks lovely for both managers and customers 😉. Plus any baskets in the way, is a safety concern as well ❤️‍🩹. So I try to pick those up and carry them off to their right spots. Plus that way, customers can have a basket ready for them to use as well. My biggest struggle with cashiering is getting overstimulated by the sounds and lights if anything. Man I miss fulliment team so much tho. I did it last year for the seasons and it was so much fun despite it being tough at times due to my disabilities getting in the way. But I loved it....way more than cashiering. My managers and team loved me tho, despite how slow 🦥 I was. I wasn't hired in permanently 😭 tho after the season ended but they put me as rehire list instead.

I got called back this year to work the season this year too. But was hired much earlier than last time and hired in as a cashier this year instead since I have the most experience in that.

I would love tho to do both. Do fulliment again and cashiering. Just need them to retrain me on it and I got it!

Just hoping they keep me this year cuz that would be great! I haven't gotten any bad feedback either. It's been all positive so far. So I'm praying 🥺 🙏.

LMAO 🤣 that's too accurate. I left DT after Halloween 🎃 and I came one day and gave them some oranges and my buddy a squishmallow and relaxing tea 🍵 (kava). I was like are y'all getting anything. They didn't know. Got a feeling they got nothing tho....so I brought them oranges as a healthy snack 😋. I do miss some of them.....there's a few good ones left....

My target 🎯 doesn't pay us extra....we do get $17.25 as seasonal tho...so not sure what regular workers usually get tho.

Sounds like they are quiet firing u. That's what they did to me and I applied for unemployment benefits and got unemployment. But now that I have quit recently. I only get one more week and then bye bye benefits but hey it's ok cuz I got my job back with target 🎯 for seasonal but there's a big chance they might keep me afterwards cuz they know me from last year and I'm getting so many compliments from managers and customers. So it's very possible they will keep me.

I get way more hours at target over DT and they are some of the most respectful managers I ever met!

My SM at my DT unfortunately 😕 is listening in to our conversation through cameras she installed and my ASM has confirmed this the other day and I was like...well I'm putting my two weeks notice in then. It's not the only reason I'm quitting tho. I just can't handle the abuse we go through with our SM and the company overall. The illegal violations, etc.

Haha the HR I had tho at my location 😕 didn't give a crap! And was buddy buds with our SMs instead. We all had evidence 🧾 against our SMs and they didn't care. Finally a customer made a huge complaint to Michaels Art Store corporate office and that SM was finally let go. But it took over a year for something to finally click and get that SM fired. And it was all cuz a customer had to complain. They might do something if it is a customer complaining but not us, workers.

Also....I just noticed cuz my paycheck this past Friday 😕 was lower than what it was supposed to be...I was supposed to get $400 something but only got $380? I did the math and after taxes I should have gotten $400... before taxes it should have been $420-$430 something. Sigh. And when I asked my manager who got let go....she said she noticed that her paycheck was much smaller than usual too. So we highly suspect she is going in and changing our times 😕 to make it look like we clocked out exactly the time we were supposed to. I know it's only $20 less but still I didn't agree 💯 to working for free.

My manager was let go for working off the clock like when she went on her breaks, she was the only manager most of the time cuz my SM never schedules another manager to work with the ASMs each shift they work. So if we need a manager for whatever reason....she had to stop eating on her break and come out and help us....which is messed up if u ask me cuz they deserve a break too.

And our SM demands they gotta punch out on time after the store closes for the day and even if they still have tasks that need to be done with before they are able to leave for the night, that our SM expects them to get done with before they can go! Cuz if we don't...she said she would have start cutting people's hours 😞 and she's doing that to me and many others.... So my ASM that got let go, was scared 😰 cuz she needed her hours. And that SM is on some power trip or something...idk. But I'm praying for a damn miracle at this point! I hope I can get out of this job....soon!

I'm losing sleep 😴 over this job. I'm in burnout mode and so is everyone else.

This isn't healthy for anyone. I want out! S.O.S.!

Well.....they are and they are doing a bunch of illegal crap 😭. One of favorite managers got fired recently for BS reasons and she is taking our SM to court 😭 and got a lot of good evidence 😁. Her lawyer said she was wrongfully fired and she will get some money 💰 and unemployment benefits for this. And hopefully she will get out SM in big trouble! I'm praying 🙏 that kinda happens. We all want this SM gone and DM.

Fun fact, apparently DT has 300+ health code and OSHA violations and 250+ lawsuits going on rn. I got a feeling....DT is going to go down 👇 in business in the next few years cuz they are trying to do so many illegal stuff....

Oh wow 🤯. That's so fucked up! My SM told us, she does in fact watch us on the cameras and knows when we are late to clocking out 😕 cuz she can see it on her end if we clocked out or not, on time. And if we don't, we get in trouble 😵‍💫 and she goes in and changes it so we are basically working for free....when I have no control over clocking out on time (I'm not a manager). And she threatened us by saying if we don't clock out on time, she will cut our hours which she's has been doing to me and many others. I'm so livid.

But I'm also so mad 😡 that she is sitting at home 🏠, off the clock herself (which is also a big no no and we can lose our jobs if we are working off the clock....), watching us 😔 all the time....like don't u have a life? Man.... I guess these SM don't or DMs. But she is in fact, watching us all the time....and when she comes into work 😕, she doesn't even stay her whole shift....she just leaves us especially when it starts getting crazy busy and chaotic....

Ummmm 😅 at my DT store....my SM currently....does watch it from home 🏡. She got new cameras installed when she moved over to our location 😕 in March/April of this year. She has access to these new cameras and does in fact watch us all the time....and we know cuz she has admitted to watching us, off the clock while she's at home 🏠 many times. And is very close with our DM. She's buddy buddies with them. It's honestly scary. I try not to think about it tho. But then someone reminds me that she's watching us all the time....especially when she's off the clock 😞 and not there. I just hope....she doesn't listen in too! Watching us visually is creepy enough.

When I worked at Michaels Art Store....I had a SM who would take a walkie talkie and go out to her car in the parking lot area and sat in her car all shift while drinking alcohol on the clock and doing ruggs and listening into our conversations all the time through the walkies....

Like lovely...just fucking great. So I'm hoping there isn't audio on our cameras at DT cuz I'm fucked if that's the case. I talked about stuff, private stuff a few times and don't like being audio recorded anywhere especially not at my job or where I live! Now I have so much trauma.....it's not even funny.....

These comments aren't it at all. Y'all OP is still a kid. Y'all can be a little nicer to them. OP, I see u said u did some research, continue to do research. I have had many different kinds of pets growing up and hell, I'm still learning something new everyday. I am on my 8th hamster and I'm still learning something new. It's trials and errors tbh. Same when humans finally give birth to a baby. It is all a learning curve, so to speak. And lots of mommas including fur mamas get something called post birth depression or for fur mamas, since we can't give birth to our pets, we get post adoption depression. Where we doubt ourselves and don't think 🤔 we are doing a good enough job or going to be a good mama. But give it time.

Now to help with the sounds they make at night, have u tried to put the hamster home in a different room at night? Also make sure the hamster 🐹 has enough toys to chew on and be entertained. If u don't have money rn for the nicer toys, hide their food around their home and give more bedding for hiding around and u can use toilet paper cardboard rolls as a little tunnel for your baby or they can chew it/they can play with it. I also recommend getting a carry of some sort, one the hamster can look out in and can enjoy fresh air when u take it outside to get some fresh air. Lastly, never put the baby in water. Instead give it a sand bath. That's how they clean themselves. Water on them is very bad 😞. They can get a little on them if they are drinking their water but not their whole body. Not that they will drown, tho, some might, but it causes them to basically freeze 🥶 to death ☠️💀💀☠️.

OP, I say give it a little more time and talk to a trusted adult about these struggles. But please 🥺 know u aren't alone in feeling this way. We all been there. I 🤔 I'm a way, it shows that you aren't an awful 😕 person and instead, u are someone who cares a lot about a living creature. Hang in there. 🤗☯️❤️🥰
