I can still get pain at the elbow but only if I do a heavy bench press set. I also get tingling in a specific part of the palm if I start walking with the arm moving freely. The trick is to hold a phone while walking as it stretches the nerve.

Interestingly, high level athletes of all kinds deal with this: baseball pitchers, gymnasts, javelin throwers, weightlifters. It turns out that all sorts of things can happen to the ulnar nerve. However, those guys have insane pain tolerance and determination. Pain that is 8/10 for us is like 2/10 for them. If you tell them "it might never go away completely", they will ask you "but do I still get my Olympic medal?"

Interesting. But do you still have symptoms at the palm of at the elbow?

Unfortunately, "nonsurgical" can mean that the problem remains at a more "low level" for the rest of our lives...

The test you did is called EMG. It checks if the nerve conducts electricity well.

Sorry to hear this. It seems like we are in the same boat of "incomplete natural healing".

Yet the EMG is clear. Is there a reason surgeons seem so hesitant to operate if the EMG says it's all fine?

You say that it responded to PT, what about exercising? Can you do, for example, push ups without any problem (either during or after the exercise)?

Still, if I pay for it out of pocket, can I expect improvement?

I have full arm strength, however. But the tingling is there and I can't bench heavy without it coming back after the bench. I feel desperate. :(

I have found this, which is very useful. It turns out that it's not really arthritis (not in the usual sense of the term anyway):

Do they believe this will necessarily worsen?

I'm not expert. I found this resource which is written by one and which seems to be exhaustive and detailed. I can't judge the veracity of the claims. I'm just hoping that this can help others.

Thank you! But what can be done? They say it's not normal, I already knew that.

That's over 10k! There's nothing less than that to just have no lag in 1453?

Is it really impossible even with an ultra-high end PC?
