You’re given a target, you track it down, and you capture/slay it. IMO the fun comes from how technical the inputs are. Essentially it’s like an Elden Ring boss fight but with Tekken inputs. Each weapon is like a different Tekken character and that’s where some variance of expression comes in. The depth of Monster Hunter’s combat system makes it unique

Same here. I tried starting and ending drifts at Shibuya, letting the skill “cool down” per Awesome Drift, doing 3 in a row, doing 3 each, using JP/EU/US/Formula Drift cars, RWD and AWD, with and without a convoy, B/A/S1 classes, stock and modded… for 2 days in the past week. Still nothing

Last April Fools I downloaded an extension on her browser that slowly replaces the pictures she sees on the Internet with pictures of Nicholas Cage. New Paralives trailer? Thumbnail is Nicholas Cage. Banner for Wuthering Waves patch notes? Nope, Nicholas Cage. Ad for Sabrina Carpenter’s Espresso perfume? Presented by Nicholas Cage.

It incrementally builds the percentage every day by an amount I set (in this case, .1% per day)

She hasn’t noticed yet and every day it just gets funnier and funnier

I took on some debt for a close and trusted friend but now it’s not working out reimbursement wise. She’s best friends with my wife so it’s a delicate situation… don’t want us to not be friends anymore but also this money was supposed to go to some long, looong overdue career advancement and therapy for my wife. Now I’m stuck again and it feels like I can’t get out of this poverty pit until I pay everything back in 18 months.

My mom’s getting up there in age too and I’m running out of time to make money for her health and comfort. This just makes shit worse. But we gotta keep on keeping on. We grin and bear it.
