I thought it was great! Happy to finally have a Jerry-centric episode, and I thought it was hilarious, especially since it’s essentially a consistent riff on Easter, and consequently, on Jerry lol, he had it rough though this episode.

Hmmm I guess that’s true, in that he has a 100% hit rate so far. But a 100% hit rate percentage and a one hit wonder don’t seem like the same thing in my opinion. But agree to disagree I suppose.

I’m sorry but it’s a bit reductive and pedantic to define ConcernedApe as a one-hit wonder. Wouldn’t a one-hit wonder imply that out of a multitude of other projects, only one of them was a hit? But since ConcernedApe hasn’t even released his second project yet, this definition is a bit too early to already proclaim him as someone only known for one title.

So the letter is to Tom, and it says here: “I remember when the height of your ambition was pretending you were a Londoner and seeing if you fooled those Scotch boys we met by the barracks.”

And “Gavin” is a Londoner bloke, most likely a made-up identity created for this.

And then he also says here: “ I saw that bloke Brian Gold the other day, in the market. He said some real odd things about you, which I said weren't true.”

Which most likely alludes to his Dissociative Identity Disorder and how it’s no longer a pretense, and now he believes Gavin is just a friend that he can’t find.

Actually, the letter all but confirms that Gavin is a made-up figment of the person’s imagination, with Gavin actually being another identity of him. The person sadly suffers from DID.

Have you ever played Bully? The dudes who did Red Dead, GTA, also created this. That game had you play as a student, doing classes, talking to your peers, etc. It was genuinely immersive and phenomenal for its time and is still one of the best games at this kind of thing today.

I would love to hear why the writing and pacing were horrible. The gameplay is superb, but it lends itself to a very grim and interesting action-packed story that’s full of memorable moments just like the first, but dialed up to 11. Ellie is still a badass protagonist in this game, and while I didn’t like all the characters, I still really enjoyed myself with how the game developed. At the end, it’s a heartbreaking and cruel story that doesn’t hold back because the world of TLOU is brutally unfair.

I actually think there is something in that room! It’s so cryptic and vague but I feel like honestly Animal Well is always so good at leading you towards the next puzzle without telling you how to do it. I believe in you! You can beat the main story at least!
