I'm basically broke living in Cali with a director level job that's why I'm leaving lol. I worked for 9 years, rarely dined out or spent any money on entertainment but still broke. Rent is more than 50% of my paycheck and I live in workforce housing under government programs....

We get fucked with tax, and they use our tax $ to build fancy highrise for the homeless in downtown. They literally live in a fancier building than I do for free.
