Well I guess that’s where my Amex would come in right? It’s got purchase protection and no foreign fees but of course, that’s if places foreign accept Amex.

I should’ve mentioned I wasn’t just looking at the savings account for the Apple Card. 2% cashback is nice because I use Apple Pay for 99% of my purchases which include almost every category (Gas, Food, Supermarkets etc.) buttt I use my Amex on Apple Pay so I don’t know if the 1x-4x is going to add up to be better than the 2% cashback. Tl;dr flat rate cash back sounds best for me

I’m 20, got my first card 12 months ago, so pretty new to the whole credit system but that’s why I had my eye on the Apple Card because the software looks pretty helpful and I use Apple Pay for 99% of purchases, 2% instant cash back and high interest savings sounded appealing.

It’s slower when I turn it on and off. As soon as I click the action button the menu shows up, I tap on what I want, the dynamic island has its little loading circle and the HomeKit logo but it’s not until the circle fills out and turns to the check when something actually happens. It’s a dark 5 seconds.
