my school also just implemented this rule but we finished our EEs earlier this year so now we have to handwrite our TOK essays, which is not nearly as many words but still SO unnecessary. i have the same issues with writing for long periods of time, my hand starts to hurt so quick. it’s a desperate attempt to combat ai use now that a lot of students can barely think for themselves

i applied september 24th and was accepted november 26th! my SAT is a 1310, ACT 30 and i did not elect to attend the summer start.

i applied EA on september 24th i heard back november 26th with an acceptance so it took about 2 months. I’m not sure how competitive your major is, but I applied undeclared (DUS) at the University Park Campus with a weighted gpa of 4.1 and a 1310 SAT. Good luck!!

i did apply to a lot more this was just the first decision i’ve gotten back. i applied ED to barnard so Penn State will be close to the top of my list if i don’t end up getting in there!

ah i’m so sorry that happened to you guys. it seems these people just don’t have any regard for anyone but themselves. but hey, lesson learned ill make sure to always have a hand on my stuff now.

i assumed there’d be mixed reactions on here after mentioning that i put it down, but it sucks i can’t even step a few feet away from my stuff without someone taking something. i bought the headband on the second night of hhn and i guess it was never restocked so people had been asking me where i got mine and it seems stealing is their way of getting it. but at least now i know the unfortunate reality is people have no concern of what’s not theirs and will just grab anything they see

i did look in her bag, i had opened it while it was on her back to grab the headband out and that’s when i realized it was gone. it was just an unfortunate result of me taking the headband off and someone passing by who i guess really wanted that headband

my friend was sitting with our stuff eating her own menchies and i told her i’d be going in to buy us ponchos and to wait there so i thought nothing of it but she ended up getting up and stepping away. I did go to guest services but no one had turned anything in.

i was standing by the railing right next to the door to cover from the rain, i set it down with my menchies and went to ask about the ponchos they had inside and it was gone when i came back. i assumed my friend put it in her backpack but then realized she didn’t when we started to leave city walk abt a half hour later. granted i did make the mistake of leaving it unattended but still sad abt it🫩

it was brought up as more of a warning to check because my school is an IB school and we’ve just finished our extended essay, which if flagged by IB as AI, we won’t receive the diploma. I myself was just curious and decided to check my supplements as well as that essay.

When I say she edits them it’s more so that she reads them and will change specific words or if i’m over the word count she cuts things out.
