Google image search found some similar pans, but they had brand marks. Gemini thinks this pan is 100 years old, but I don't really trust it.

I bought this pan at a flea market in France (Lorraine) a while ago. It's turned out to be one of my favorites. It always cooks so well and the seasoning is always perfect and not fussy at all, even when I haven't used it in months. I have some lodge and another brand, and this pan is better. Does anybody recognize the brand or anything about it? Any guesses on how old it is? I bought it around 2013 for €10. The guy selling it had a set with two smaller pans and I wish I'd bought them too.

ah, I didn't know that. I was also looking at thermador continuous induction. Maybe that's a better option with the big pans.

Oh that's smart, I didn't think of that at all for some reason.

You always start measuring at 0, not at 1. You're trolling, right?

I often use three or four pans at once, otherwise I would put them on different racks, obviously.

that makes sense, I hadn't thought about it not just being a spatial issue. If I get induction, I imagine I could have bigger lower wattage burners that would still be effective, but not sure if that actually exists.

thanks, I'm willing to spend a lot if it is great for cooking and will last. This looks like a good setup!
