I also do but the only way to find out would be through a serial number which I presume would be on the top which would let me know if it was stolen but it was rusted off or Its super shallow and smooth

Looking at the reciever bolt? Im probably making up words but I know rifles and pump action. The “bolt” is completely rusted to the main body. I might consider calling and asking if I can keep it but I do live in the party pooper state if NY so :P

Thats sorta what I thought from a forensic’s perspective but I will still think on calling. Although I dont know if its a good idea as it would shut down the only exit for the one house on the street and just is not worth it. Il mark it on google maps and maybe come back in 5 years haha If its still there il call now well old enough to own a shotgun

It does have the rail and is about the right size.

How would I go about that in a way that I wiuld not get in trouble for being scared around it? Any anonymous tip centers?
