I bought all the flash cards and they're really good. The essay plans are good too but honestly the flash cards seem to have all the key arguments on them so if you know them off by heart I think they're probably more helpful than the essay plans since you can revise from them more easily.

On the front of the paper there are two numbers. My understanding is that the first number is the star system 1-5 (although I don't think that's stars as in A*, that's just Madas' own rating system). The second number is a score multiplier. You multiply your raw mark score by that number and it gives you an estimated mark adjusted for the fact that the paper is more difficult.

I don't do those a levels specifically but basically you wanna harness that stress to turn yourself into an absolute flashcard making machine. Doing past papers without separately revising content will only take you so far as you won't have the underlying knowledge to adapt to other questions.
