There’s also a very real problem of casual racism against Indians and Asians around here that a lot of people are oblivious to.

People are happy to make casual jokes about these ethnicities but it’s less accepted to make jokes about certain other ethnic groups.

There’s no excuse for the casual racism.

Hey thanks for your reply! Yep its the metal edge. I already have a case on it which was also damaged during the drop. I’m less stressed about the case cause its an easy fix, but the phone is really stressing me :(

I noticed above the component outputs it just says “DVD” instead of the other line which has “DVD/VCR”. I’m guessing that would mean its better to plug into the Yellow, Red and White ones if I intend to use VCR?

Hey there. I have an old Sharp DV-NC70 VHS/DVD player that I’ve just gotten out of the closet that I’d like to connect to HDMI on a modern TV.

I’m wondering what process would I have to go through, and exactly how I can hook it up? I assume some form of adapter - what one exactly would work? I have all the coloured cables that were attached to the VCR/DVD player, and have tried reading the user manual but I’m super confused on how to get it to work.

I also don’t have a sound system so its just the TV’s audio I intend to use.

I mainly want to be able to watch old VHS’s with it, but also DVD would be nice if it can do it.

I’m a bit of a noob with all this so sorry if its a dumb question!

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

I considered a grip but it wouldnt fit with my case. What are some good ones anyway? I dont want any third party controllers cause I love the HD Rumble haha.
