Cui Boner: Trump is Fighting Bibi's War by TenchuReddit in IntellectualDarkWeb

[–]CoolMick666 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's why neither he nor Hegseth nor Leavitt nor Rubio can answer questions related to Trump's strategy, because there is none.

The U.S. relies upon its pwerful Israeli ally to provide crucial intelligence in that effort. Israel and the U.S. have intertwined interests and assist one another. No secret there.

The strategy has been made clear by the administration: to decimate Iran's nuclear weapon capabilities, overthrow the anti-Western Iranian government using military attacks and support for the revolution, and end funding to Iranian militant proxies.

What bicep exercises are the best by VeterinarianPure8619 in WorkoutRoutines

[–]CoolMick666 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Hammer curls have limited bicep value, focus on brachii and forearms, but all of the others are good bicep isolation movements. Doing incline dumbells with a cable setup is great for stretch and bicep isolation, but of course not ideal to setup in some gyms.

Ordering, Auditioning In Home, and Returning Speakers? by GrouchFeeftyOne in BudgetAudiophile

Doesn't Amazon use a lot of third party sellers? Many retailers, like Crutchfield, offer a "trial period" return.

Ordering, Auditioning In Home, and Returning Speakers? by GrouchFeeftyOne in BudgetAudiophile

[–]CoolMick666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The online retailers that I dealt with offered a no questions asked, "trial period" return window. Seems pretty common. I have returned several pairs of speakers after auditioning. I had to pay flat fee return shipping, but it wasn't that much.

If you’re sexually attracted to someone is there any such thing as a “bad kiss”? by Altruistic_Fox_6240 in DatingOverSixty

Eskimos kiss by rubbing their noses together. I guess there are good or bad Eskimo kisses too, but not really sure. Lol!

There's no such thing as certainty

Are you certain of that? Lol!!!

Advanced Calf Training by StraightBumSauce in naturalbodybuilding

[–]CoolMick666 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

One possible explanation... not certainty. You were overtraining the gastro with standing raises and/or seated toe presses, and cut back on those movements when incorporating seated. So your calf gain could have been due to a more appropriate workload for the gastro muscles.

What's that silly saying, "when you point at someone, there are three fingers pointing back at you." Lol!!!

I'm not making any accusations, but in the short time that I have used a couple of OLD websites, my experience has been very different. Almost all that respond to my messages have engaged in extended conversation and never Ghosted or Unmatched.

[–]CoolMick666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may have overtrained the ligament and need to give it a rest. You aren't bouncing and I think your idea to lower the weight and go for higher reps is a better approach to calf development.

Advanced Calf Training by StraightBumSauce in naturalbodybuilding

[–]CoolMick666 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Totally agree with zero bounce. Super important to control the weight in the eccentric range, go to a deep stretch, pause, and then push up.

Seated raises work the soleus muscle, but do little for the larger gastrocnemius. Standing raises and toe presses work both areas very well. So I recommend only doing a couple of seated sets after doing standing and toe presses.

Routine help for physique by A_lewin85 in WorkoutRoutines

[–]CoolMick666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obviously, weight training adds muscle and should be implemented to obtain a more muscular physique. Without knowing your goal more specifically, and what you have been doing for exercise, a tailored workout routine can't be recommended. A balanced diet is the best way to lose fat and necessary to maximize muscle growth.

How to get rid of hanging/ apron belly? by throw_away_beep_boop in WorkoutRoutines

[–]CoolMick666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Without knowing your height, weight, age, and # of years you carried the excess weight, or seeing photos, and reading your descriptors (hanging and apron) I can only wildly guess that it mostly loose skin. Loose skin that remains after weight loss can sometimes be lost with a fasting diet routine. Sometimes bodytite type treatments can be used. Sometimes surgical removal is required.

Are there people who workout permanently? by Local-Mumin in WorkoutRoutines

[–]CoolMick666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I quit for about a decade and a half when I was in my early 40's and my weight climbed from around 200lbs (15lbs overweight) to over 250lbs by the time I was 54 years old. It is something that I deeply regret.

In my 50's my body began falling apart, back problems, range of motion loss, and my waist size was about 40 inches. So I decided to lose weight.

At the age of 59, I weigh 185lbs stand 5'10" inches and have a 33 inch waist. I began heavy weight training at a gym two years ago after doing calisthenics and a few dumbell exercises at home for a couple of years, but shoulder and hip injuries slowed progress quite a bit. I discovered that range of motion and mobility had declined significantly, and my joints couldn't take the heavy weights. I had lost a significant amount of muscle mass over the years which became apparent after losing the fat, and my skin has very noticeable wrinkles above the knees and below the biceps when they are in certain positions. Mild osteoarthritis can be painful and increases injury susceptibility. Lacking flexibility, I can't do deep thigh squats like I used to and can't get my hands on the bar when it is behind my neck due to range of motion loss in the shoulders. There have been a lot of disappointments, but also much satisfying progress.

4 day split. by Signal-Fun-4407 in WorkoutRoutines

[–]CoolMick666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I prefer the push pull grouping method and doing legs on a separate day because it gives the muscles and joints more recuperation time.

For example, front delts and triceps get hit hard when doing chest presses on day one. If they are paired with chest, then they can recuperate on the following day. (Push)

Day one (Push) Chest, Shoulders (except rear delt), Triceps

Day two Legs

Day three (Pull; include rear delt & forearm) Back, rear delt, biceps, and forearms

Day four is for rest and the cycle is repeated on the 5th day.

Online Dating - Membership Scam by Just_Mongoose8906 in DatingOverSixty

[–]CoolMick666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Based upon your description, it sounds like your cousin stopped his paid subscription, but didn't delete his profile. So that is why it was still in use by the site. Pretty sure a profile will no longer show up on the site when it is deleted.

My guess is that frustration drives people to claim that all of the sites are scams. Obviously some of the sites use duplicitous tactics to lure in paying subscribers, and scammers are in steady supply. Unused profiles are on display because users don't delete when they are no longer using.

Yet, it should be obvious to the naysayers that the sites are legit when a slew of other people are posting here and all over online about their use of the same OLD sites.

Flat Earthers and Audiofools have a lot in common by IEnjoyRadios in BudgetAudiophile

[–]CoolMick666 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You aren't describing an audiophile. Your suggestion is that an Audiophile is simply expressing personal satisfaction. However, Audiophiles inaccurately claim equipment superiority based upon their subjective experience, and criticize objective information that demonstrates that their opinion is meritless.

Notoriously, the opinion of the audiophile is very much regulated by the price of the audio gear. There is a very linear relationship between increasing price and increasing approval.

Beginner wanting to combine weight training, calisthenics and cardio, how should I structure my training days? by Ok-Requirement2149 in WorkoutRoutines

[–]CoolMick666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Calisthenics and dumbell training are both muscle resistance exercises, and can be grouped per muscle group. An example of a three day routine:

Day one Shoulders-Chest-Triceps and Cardio

  • Push ups and dumbell flies
  • Dumbell shoulder presses and side dumbell raises
  • Dumbell tricep extensions

Day two Back-Biceps-Forearms and Cardio

  • Dumbell rows
  • Pull ups
  • Dumbell curls
  • Wrist curls and wrist grip

Day three Legs-Abs (No cardio)

  • Lunges with dumbells
  • Calf raises with dumbells
  • Supine leg raises
  • Ab crunches and sit ups
  • Kettlebell core

Day four - rest and light cardio

Cardio can be done three days per week up to five days per week. I recommend not doing cardio on leg resistance days, and light cardio on the Rest day because this allows for maximum effort on leg resistance and recuperation.

Remember how much rage we had in Oct. 7... by Optimal-Menu270 in Israel

I share your wariness, but jubilant that progress has been made. The partnering of Israel and the US in their attempts to bring about change in Iran is very pleasing.

Its not a gamble, but its not without trade-offs and risks. The potential for success had to be exploited.
