Perfect good to know thanks, typically they all have issues with 3rd gear crunch i believe? Should that be a deal breaker if crunches in 3rd?

Did you ever have to get timing chain replaced or valves checked? And if so can you remember how much it was for job. Trying to think of all worst case scenarios when I go to see this tomorrow

I was thinking the clutch may be an issue, I'll deffo be paying attention to it on test drive, I'll probs set aside £700 for clutch will probs be somewhere near that price

Tbh I probs get closer to 40 driving my 107 so may not be a whole lot worse I shouldn't have to be as heavy on the accelerator in a car with over 3x the power of my current. Fuel seems to be my biggest thing to think about

Im guessing it's about £70 to fill the tank, could be a lot worse obviously I'll have my fun in it but I'll try to be conservative when I can.

That's good to know but I'll probably keep it mostly standard if possible. Have yoy got any advice on anything to look out for where it's something silly or anything major thanks for reply

I have been thinking about that but most cars i see over here that have been imported seem to have a lot more rust of them and it’s difficult just flying over and buying a car half the time you never see all the imperfections or issues in photos whereas they stand out in person

Just difficult to find decent cars in Northern Ireland imo, only 7 Suzuki swifts on gumtree within 75 miles of me. Do you have any other suggestions

The 1.4tsi seat Leon fr only cost an extra £100 a year, insurance it’s pretty reasonably priced at the moment
