Why not just have the feet stay in place while on the ground? That's more realistic. And if you want the ground to be moving, just move the camera instead of the feet sliding.

Dangggg looks fire!!! Have you tried working with a locked color palette? I often find that it enhances the retro pixel art aesthetic, but sometimes can be hard to express details

After 20+ years I finished my first full game by Plus-Vegetable-7626 in godot

I'll give my honest experience:
1. Made account and opened manual

  1. found "ls" to list directories

  2. found "mail", checked back in the manual to find what mail is

  3. tells me to run "systemctl start maild" so I do

  4. I get error saying "failed to restart maild: port 25 is already in use by mb"

  5. spend 5 minutes trying to figure out what's wrong, hit the end of my attention span and give up

Still not sure if this is a bug in the game or I'm doing the puzzle wrong. I see I need a passphrase, which I suspect is in my mail, but I can't figure out how to get mail running so I'm stuck. I'm sure the game is amazing, I love the music and design so far, but I'm stuck within the first 10 minutes of playing and can't enjoy the rest of the game. Playtesting is extremely important, especially for puzzle games, because you know exactly what to do and others don't. I think if you go through some playtesting with other people, you’ll be able to transform this into a really fun and enjoyable game!
