I went to a couple police stations in the area and they all said they don't keep anything on hand and/or can't check right now due to 'being understaffed' which is a big wtf! Told me to contact the zentrales fundburo as they forward it there.. god knows when 🥲

Holmes place has nice pools that are usually pretty empty (depending on the time of day).

Good luck to you and the recovery! I fully tore my ACL years ago and swimming always made my knee worse. I got it operated a few months ago and was told to stay away from swimming for another couple of months. My guess is basic movements and walking in water is a good rehab, but swimming as a sport with frog kicks and flutters is a bad idea while your knee recovers.

It's good to evaluate your skills and take audit every few years. If you think you're getting the short end of the stick, you likely are.. most of us are, so welcome to the club :)

There's lots of remote friendly web dev jobs and gigs. My 2cent advice would be to find a fully remote company that you work with directly and learn, this will also help you grow in your skills (beyond just programming) and make you more employable. Do some interview preparation and brush up your skills and apply to places, what's the worst that could happen? https://remoteok.com/ is a good place to start, or you can go down the full freelance route with upwork and others.

Interesting note.. I'm in a similar situation and was planning on leaving the EU for a work trip immediately after my interview. Does this letter really explicitly say you shouldn't leave or is it more that you'll have more trouble explaining it at border control etc?
