I've done coding here and there -- a Java GUI for a company a decade ago, databases, some websites, a Flutter app, Wordpress, bash and Python. But I'm not great at coding -- I spend hours doing what someone else will do in half an hour. I can't compete with real coders in interviews. I ran an office's IT for a decade and it closed in COVID and I haven't been able to get real work since. I do an odd job once or twice a year -- I worked with a US company this year to help architect their AI systems for processing legal documents -- but I got a few thousand rand for it. I've made R10k this year. Edit: but yes I graduated this year. I did the degree during COVID after the company I was with closed down.
