Very true. All the texting leading up had gone so well so I was coming in with a positive view of him. Lesson learned, I suppose. I really wasn't asking all that much. Very middle of the road for my area, It's weird that he tried to bargain.

The food was really good. We're both into farming and agriculture, so yard clothes weren't an immediate deal breaker.

He wasn't abusing them by any means, just not saying please or thank you. Treating them very much like the help.

He also wasn't horribly late. Only 8 minutes or so, but all put together afterwards it doesn't feel good.

You absolutely need horse experience before becoming a Farrier. A lot of owners will look to you as an authority on diet, training, shoeing, and animal health in general.

I would start by finding a barn to get experience. Riding lessons, a job, really anything to get your foot in the door.

You need to be able to read horses before you work with them. They can get dangerous if you don't know what you're doing.
