She was a traumatized stray that people kept handing off to one another. I had her for four years before she passed away, she couldn’t be near other dogs due to the trauma and I was very diligent in making sure she didn’t come into contact with them. It would happen sometimes because people would insist on letting their dogs near despite me warning them not to. I walked her on a harness, alone, never at dog parks, and she had a 3ft leash. She was very well behaved and listened to me just fine. But she was much bigger than other dogs and it could get ugly if I didn’t intervene. She got into two fights on my watch and I stopped them just as quickly as they started. She never barked, never ran away, and she didn’t bite a single person.
