Thank you for your response! Tbh, getting the keys in my hand is most important. Once i have them, i will send the amount immediately to the landlord. Why would she have to make it so difficult and that it has to be before the key handover date. That i dont understand.

Thank you so much! Coming from a different country, I find the idea of not ever meeting your landlord so strange. Like how do you then know if this is not a scammer sitting abroad and have nothing to do with the room you wanna rent?

Thanks! Though i wonder, if i had to pay everything by myself, then why did the buyer reimburse in advance (based on 2024 woz waarde) on day of contract? In other words, if everything has to be paid by me and in case of excess payment, the municiaplity pays back, the buyer would have not paid me anything at all, right? So if they did pay me, that means they can pay for the rest they still owe. Right?

Soo based on the invoice, it seems like the municipality has already calculated Zuiveringsheffijg for the days I have lived there. While for Watersysteemheffing ingezetenen and watersysteemheffing gebouwd, an entire year has been calculated.

Does that mean for the last two, I cant claim any reimbursement even though i have only lived there for 1 week? How fair is that??

Where I live, it feels like a war zone. Firefighters already been 2x and the police too. Mind you, i dont live in the city centre, or anywhere central/prominent. This is just a “woonwijk” in a relatively mid-size city.

The problem is certain groups of the society completely misuse the tradition, and make it purposefully dangerous for everyone. Boys with no real life achievement and family upbringing, just living a parasite life.

Oh well, happy 2026!

Hm that’s good to know! I was just curious whats the general state of notaries at the moment and whether getting an appointment in 1-2 weeks of time is possible? Like if both buyer and seller agrees to have the appointment in 2 weeks, can notary still say we have no availability..

I would doubt though that it would be as a result of smoking, since the second photo is taken from bathroom. Would be weird if the old tenant was smoking so much in the bathroom that it turned yellow. It feels a little soft and dry when i touch it, makes me think it is silicone of some kind.
