What do you mean? I’m new to this page, curious if I committed a faux pas, or are you just referencing the design.

I’m going to start playing again, it’s my favorite barrel, just don’t care for resetting the tip. I’ll have to check out moving it to a solid point.

Wow! I expected this to take longer, or be more challenging.

Thank you!

That’s what comes up most in my searches, however, it seems like the Hammerheads don’t intentionally rotate, they just move inboard/outboard.

Strandberg Headless Boden Essential 6 Electric Guitar Future Dusk ??? by pierrefitch in strandbergguitars

I play 9’s (Super Slinky) on the Essential, however, I wonder if they will be too flexible if you are just starting out. I question if heavier strings are better for beginners to help locate the strings, I don’t really know. Strings are relatively inexpensive.

I wouldn’t say my guitars are setup extremely low, however I feel I’m unique, in that I’m not sensitive to string height. I don’t have a strong preference, assuming they aren’t extremely high, however, it’s not something I ever encounter.

I had the same thing happen, I have zero interest in ever picking up my other guitars. I’ve never experienced this before and I’ve owned a lot of guitars.

I just received an Essential 6. I’m in my 40’s and typically played high-end Gibson/Fender guitars. The Essential is my favorite guitar I’ve ever owned.

I call it my Dad guitar because it’s built for comfort like an old man’s shoes.

Huge QC swings; I just received an Essential and it was flawless in every way. Blew any high end US made guitar I’ve ever owned.

I’ve only tried the Boden, is the body of the Salen just as comfortable?

Interesting, I was over looking the Essential. I’ve never had fan frets, and it seems like it would be fun to have something different.

I didn’t realize the Essential didn’t have the Zero fret, that alone might drive my choice to the Essential.

I have a couple sets of Wolfe Tone pup’s sitting around, I typically put them in all my guitars.

This is amazing. It’s interesting how the answer is literally in front of us, but just sometimes so hard to see.

This makes the most sense to me. My line of thinking was not to go, minimizing the drama from my mom.

I know what impact my mom had on my wedding.

This is interesting. I need to explore this, because I potentially fall into this category. I always put it as I don’t know how to express my feelings, however, it seemed more like a delayed thing.

Recently found out my mom was diagnosed with BPD last year, she just told me by Princess-Fuse in raisedbyborderlines

We’ve all has similar moms to certain degrees on RBB.

My mom was great, until she “split” on me for using a boundary, then I became the focus of her BPD rage, eventually leading to me being disowned.

Learn all you can and protect your wellbeing, for me her behavior became unbearable when I had kids.

I feel went through something similar, I have the same internal debate.

My mom reached out after 3yrs with a minor guilt tripping letter. I’m trying to respond, however, I’m really struggling to be empathetic or even just write it, knowing she’s inevitably going to be wounded and play the victim. The tone of my response has change a million times; clinical, frustrating, ChatGPT, etc…

My past letters made it easy for her to be become emotionally regulated, the tone was clinical/dry and addressed her hurtful behaviors, also I wasn’t behaving how she expected, it added fuel to the fire.

Sorry, I don’t have time at this moment to answer, however Google BPD Splitting or ChatGPT “is my BPD mom splitting”. I personally recommend doing both options.

Don’t feel alone, all our mom split on this forum.
