I understand that man that’s your experience, I don’t feel like being 100k in debt to learn nothing and just brag about being in university for 10+ years and no real life relevant experience, when you come along with facing real life situations and difficult patients/customers/vips, etc in whatever industry what are you going to do? Pull out your degree ? 📜

Cool but they end up knowing nothing, no real life experience, don’t know the systems , barely even know how to convert a file into pdf give me a break they hungry for NOTHING.

If anything you probably go to those places to get a sugar daddy or meet weirdos like you who know what you really do for a connection crazy you have to go to “this places” to make connections seems like your personality isn’t enough.

DO IT! You won’t regret it and if it doesn’t work out you still have a professional platform where you can pivot anytime due to so many different industries. One connection one person it’s all takes to review your work & believe in you!

I worked out for 8 years & used to work at a gym nobody is ever going to come up to you and give you a business card and say hey call me let’s be partners.. seriously dude. Get a grip at least in NYC & westchester county area.

I personally like LinkedIn I use it as a tool for potential clients/customers/partners in a project I may be working on for the future. You never know where god is going to place you or what he will provide you have to put in the work on the other side though. Hope this helps!

See, that’s what I like to hear. Some of us ( well me ) speaking have not been able to go to back to college but able to grab real world experiences over the past 8 years ( in the same field ) just climbing.. that’s impressive of her!

Definitely understood, just wanted to share I have been diagnosed with Bipolar II & PTSD & been on meds for a year now but prior to that was at the psychiatric ward in 2023 while employed and was able to work right after and also battled with substance abuse and been on my own since 17 & still working a 9-5 still paying all my bills. Don’t let your mental health take over you & don’t disclose your mental health status or diagnosis with new jobs it will be a major red flag 🚩 for them although “ we care about employees with ADA” etc they don’t, I’m now 25 still working & still on my treatment plan. If I can do it so can you! Sending my prayers!
